for the free dossierwerk demo

1. Provider and scope

Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung

These Terms apply only to businesses, public-law entities and special public-law funds. They govern the free dossierwerk demo.

2. Demo service

dossierwerk demonstrates functions for structuring, requesting, reviewing and documenting product evidence and diligence processes.

The demo is free, non-binding and for evaluation only. It does not create a subscription or entitlement to future paid services.

3. No certification or legal advice

dossierwerk is not a testing laboratory, certification body, notified body, authority or law firm.

Grades, warnings and exposure indicators relate only to demonstrative data and are not evidence of product safety, compliance, marketability or freedom from liability.

The system intentionally separates the strength of evidence from any assessment of the product itself.

4. Permitted use

Internal business evaluation only.

No sharing of accounts, one-time codes or invitation links.

No circumvention of access or security controls.

No automated extraction, reverse engineering or recreation of rule sets, data models or interfaces.

No use to build a directly competing system.

5. No real or confidential data

Users must not enter or upload real customer documents, personal data, test reports, declarations, trade secrets, security information or unpublished product material.

Only fictional or expressly approved test data may be used. Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung does not store or host customer documents in the current demo.

6. Account security

Login uses a one-time code sent to the business email address. Users must protect the code and session and report security incidents promptly to compliance@dossierwerk.com.

7. Availability and changes

No specific availability, response time, feature set or permanent storage is guaranteed. Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung may modify, reset, restrict or terminate the demo at any time.

Support requests will normally receive an initial response within three business days, but this is not a resolution commitment.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the software, interface, data models, assessment and mapping logic, rule libraries, templates, trademarks and documentation remain with Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung or its licensors.

9. User content and anonymised data

Users retain rights in lawfully submitted content, but only approved test data may be used in the demo.

Fully anonymised and aggregated usage information may be used solely for internal product improvement, not external benchmarking. Data will not be used to train public or generally available AI models without explicit consent.

10. Data protection

The current Privacy Policy applies. The infrastructure includes AWS Amplify, Supabase in Stockholm and Resend in Ireland.

11. Warranty

The demo is provided as available. Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or completeness of demonstrative content.

12. Liability

Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body or health, statutory product liability, fraud and expressly assumed guarantees.

For slightly negligent breach of an essential obligation, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage and, where legally permissible, EUR 1,000 per damaging event. Other liability for slight negligence is excluded.

Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung is not liable for decisions based on demo assessments, simulated documents, automated indications or incomplete information.

13. Termination

The demo continues until terminated by the user or Dossierwerk - Gesellschaft in Gründung. Either party may terminate at any time without notice. Account and demo data may then be deleted under the Privacy Policy.

14. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the CISG. Where legally permissible, exclusive jurisdiction for merchants is Braunschweig, Germany.

The German version is legally controlling. This English version is provided for information.
